I recently found Anne Of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery for free on the Kindle although halfway through the first book I brought bundle of all the Anne books for 49p(This is the one I chose)I really think the 49p is worth spending even if you are reading it for the first time as you will have all the books to continue the stories with and if you don’t like it whats 49p really.

Even though i have what feels like a gazzilion books to read already stacked up on the night stand, i thought, what the hell and downloaded it anyway, grabbed myself a large cup of tea and started to read it. I’m honestly glad i did as i love the story and can’t wait to read the rest of the collection.

I know the book is meant for children but it’s still a lovely story for adults too as it’s a simple yet beautiful story where you don’t have to worry about what graphic scenes you are going to come across. Since starting to read the collection of books i have seen many mixed review on the book and most are about Anne’s character Some love her some find her annoying, in some ways I guess she can be seen as annoying despite that i found myself thinking how much she reminded me of myself at that age. In short Anne Talks way too much, Loves nature and see its beauty everywhere and has a very vivid imagination that tends to get her into trouble and no matter how hard she tries to be the way she think Marilla and Mathew what her to be something always goes wrong.  That being said she always find the positivity in any situation that she ends up in by seeing it as a mistake she wont make again and one day there will be no more mistakes to make. Her character has a heart of gold and doesn’t like to upset or hurt and is devastated when she does.

I really do love little Anne with an E So today I thought I’d share the things I’ve learned from this little red-head (just don’t call her Carrots)

If you have never read these books I really recommend them to you and any young person in your life who enjoys reading, i really think these will be a hit with the girls. They are really lovely stories to just curl up and get lost in which is perfect for the cold dark nights that are now with us.

I will be doing book reviews in the near future and this will be one of them. I’m also planning other posts which will be book based, Maybe they will be craft related or maybe recipes …You will have to wait and see.

Let me know what you think if you do decide to read them, I’d love to know what you think.
