The first thing I noticed about this shampoo is that it comes in a pump bottle, which I think is fantastic, as more than once I have dropped bottles in the shower trying to get the shampoo out because my hands were wet a slippery. Due to it being in a pump bottle it is thinner than most shampoos on the market and is a pearly white colour, but it being thin does not affect its performance. Even though it doesn’t have SLS’s in it still lather’s really well the only think I’m not completely happy about is how my hair feels after I have washed the shampoo it feels slightly straw like and matted but the conditioner sorts it out. The scent is very mild when I saw Lavender and Mint I was a little surprised but to together they smell quite pleasent. Like all shampoos it tells to lather rinse and repeat.

Again this comes in a pump bottle so the conditioner isn’t very thick. the first time I pumped it out I admit I was put off, to me it looked like a cheap nasty conditioner but I was totally wrong the conditioner is really good and I didn’t need as much as expected. Now I don’t touch my hair with a brush all comb when my hair is wet so I can’t tell you how good its detangeling is, but I could easily run my fingers through my hair so I would guess its pretty good. The conditioner smell exactly the same as the shampoo and but the scent doesn’t lingers for a long time after its washed out.

Overall View :
So what do I think, Well when my hair is dry it feels very soft and conditioned and has a lovely healthy shine to it but it sadly seems to give me greasy looking roots quickly and I tend to be grabbing the dry shampoo more often between washes. That all being said I honestly think it is a great set to use and it has a reasonably price tag to it for an organic shampoo and conditioner. Over all I would recommend people to try them both, Just because they weren’t perfect for me doesn’t mean they wont be for you. PHB has a fantastic range of products and I love everything they stand for. This company is definitely in my top 10 favourite brands so go on try them out, you know you want to 😉
Tangle Angel Hair Brush
So its time to talk about The Tangle Angel,
How cute does this brush look ? I had never seen them before I was brought one as a gift. They thought I would love it because my really name means Angel so I love Angel related things and they were so right it’s my favourite brush and not just because it looks so fantastic.
You can get the Tangle Angel from their website but if you google them you can get them all over the place. I have the basic one that is £12.95 which comes in so many colours although I do have my eye on the new tangle pro.
About the Brush :
The brush is made of plastic as are the bristles which I know to some will be off-putting, but this brush has a lot going for it. Not only is this brush perfect to detangling wet or dry hair (I personally only use on dry) you can also use it as a blow dry brush and is suitable for all hair types.
This is what my bristles look like and I have been using this brush for years we are talking well over 6 years will repeated use every day and it is still in brilliant condition.
- Antibacterial : Specially developed antibacterial additives embedded in the plastic make your brush ultra-hygienic and safe to use.
- Anti static : Anti static properties help to prevent flyaways leaving hair smooth and silky.
- Heat resistant : Resistant up to 120 c, bristles retain their shape even when used with the high temperatures generated by some hairdryer’s.
- Water repellent : Ideal for using in the shower, by the pool or at the beach.
Overall View : I honestly love this brush, I have a sensitive scalp and the bristle in a lot of other brushes makes my scalp really sore but this one thankfully doesn’t. The big question is does It really get the knots out ? and the simple answer is YES. I was Surprised the first time i used it that it did get the knots out but like with all brushes its best to brush out you hair in sections to remove the knots. After I have brushed my hair it feels silky and soft and amazingly it’s not flyaway and I have also noticed i don’t get as many split ends. The only time this brush hasn’t held up on its own for me was after I had been out on a really windy day and stupidly had my hair down, seriously it looked like a matted birds nest by the time I got home, so I used some detangling spray to give the brush a helping hand. I really would recommend this brush, Even though I don’t normally like plastic items, this is honestly a great brush so I have happily looked past that issue. If you have a sensitive scalp or even if you just want a gentler brush give this brush a go and see how you get on I’m sure you will be happy with the results.
As an added point I think the brush would be great for younger girls who have fine hair, I have used this on my niece who has gorgeous long hair but it’s the finest hair I have ever known yet she didn’t moan or complain one in pain whilst I was brushing the knots out
If You do decided to give any of these at try, drop me a line or two below and let me know how you got one.
Lots of Love Berry xx
