The Best Essential Oils For Menstrual Health

I suffer from PCOS, an ovarian illness which means my ovaries don’t regularly release eggs (ovulation) causes irregular periods or it can cause you not to have them at all and just as an added bonus it also throws in a few other not so lovely side effects like weight gain, excess body and facial hair (Hirsutism), difficulty in getting pregnant, hair loss and acne to name a few. So you can see why my menstrual health is a big deal to me.

My periods started when I was just 12 years old and they have always been all over the place ever since from heavy to light shows to complete no shows. I suffer from the most awful period pains in my lover back and stomach, cramps and I also always suffer from a dull throbbing ache in the top of my legs when I’m due to come on and also whist I am on, and lets not talk about the mood swings, carb cravings and IBS flares up’s plus I’m an unlucky girl who’s psoriasis always flares up when mother nature  id due to visits … We are lucky aren’t we girls !!

Over the years I have found that Essential oils have helped greatly with these symptoms from controlling my moods to easing the pains and it is so easy to incorporate them into your daily life, like a nice soak in the bath or a tummy rub. So today I want to share with you the amazing oils that have helped me in hope they can help you. I only use essential oils externally (although with some brands you can be taken internally) but that’s just my personal choice.

!!! If you are pregnant please do NOT use any of these oils physically especially ones that help regulates menstrual cycles !!!
